Our Ministries define us, unite us, and enrich us.

Monthly Food Pantry

Every third Saturday

12:30pm to 2:30pm

We seek to support our neighborhood families in need by providing some of the basic food and supplies through our monthly food pantry. We have a range of non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies, and toiletries that we provide to help fill the gap between paychecks or other services. If you know someone in need of these things, we hope they can come!

Men’s Ministries

We have a strong ministry for the men of our church. We support one another in prayer, fellowship, and education, helping to grow as caring, attentive, and confident followers of Christ. We have various events throughout the year all tied together with our monthly Men’s Breakfasts.

Men’s Breakfast – On the first Saturday of each month, we gather together to enjoy breakfast and have a Bible Study. We normally make the breakfast with a hearty and home-style focus, ranging from French Toast to Eggs Benedict to Biscuits and Gravy. Our studies in the scripture are uplifting and encouraging, and we try to cover a whole chapter in the hour of discussion. Currently we are making our way through the Book of Matthew.

Men’s Retreat – Each year in the Spring we host a Men’s Retreat at the Christian Renewal Center. This retreat creates deeper connections between the men of our church, allows us a time of education and growth, and it helps to break us out of our normal habits for a time of peaceful prayer. Our topics have ranged from prayer, beauty, biblical manhood, and many others.

Women’s Ministries

We also have activities to bring together the ladies of our church, with a Fall Annual Women’s Retreat, prayer breakfasts, and Bible studies, as well as a variety of interactions within other key ministries such as our Bazaar guild and the Altar Guild.

Women’s Retreat – Each Fall our women gather together for a retreat at the Christian Renewal Center. This is a wonderful weekend of learning, praying, and enjoying one another’s company. Topics have ranged from missions to our church community to identity. We also partner with the Diocese of Cascadia for their annual retreat.

Women’s Prayer Breakfasts – We hold monthly prayer breakfasts to check in with one another, develop in our learning and love of Christ, and enjoy food and fellowship together.

LAN Party

For our middle school to College-aged youth, we run a group called the LAN Party. This group is focused on providing a chance for friends to come together and play games in a safe place. We start our sessions with a short Bible message and some pizza, and then enjoy playing together. We have a large variety of video games, board games, and PC games, and are always eager to try out new ones.

The room we use is comfortable, cozy, and safe. There are a variety of cushy chairs and couches. During the Summer we adjust rooms to keep cool.

Some of the video games we play most often: Super Smash Bros, Pokémon, Mario Kart, Mario: Wonder, Minecraft, Jackbox Party Pack, and League of Legends. We also like to play group games when they gain popularity.

We have access to many of the most popular board and card games, from Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride, to classics like Sorry! and Uno. We also have various people interested in TCGs like Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Annual Bazaar

Our Annual Bazaar is our biggest event of the year where we raise money for local charities. Throughout the year our Bazaar guild gathers materials and creates goods to sell. There are a large variety of items such as handmade towels, hats, scarves, ornaments, baby clothing and cards, as well as jams, breads, other preserved foods, and food mixes. We also sell donated Christmas decorations so they can live a second life!

After the bazaar is wrapped up, all the proceeds go to local charities. Previously we have donated to Snocap, Vietnam Veterans of Oregon, My Father’s House, Shepherd’s Door, The Salvation Army, Boxes of Love, Heifer International, World Vision International, The Portland Rescue Mission, and KEX Kids, among others.
